Welcome to meadows cottage |
|
Situated on a river bank in a very secluded rural valley, this carefully restored and well equipped former Miller's cottage is available for holiday letting. The Mill itself, known as Radipole Upper Mill, was operational until 1903, the Miller having built Meadows House itself in about 1750. Until 1946, the whole property was used as a market garden, then un-occupied for several years. It has been our family home since 1954, and we have gradually restored the buildings and worked on the 10 acres to bring it to its current condition. The Cottage itself remains detatched, fully self-contained and provides a perfect, quiet retreat that is close to all the delights of South Dorset.
